In the quiet backwaters of the north-central Waukesha county, you’ll find  Lake Keesus. Individuals inclined towards fishing will enjoy an abundance of panfish including Crappie, Bluegill and Perch, as well as Walleye Pike in the deeper pockets. The public access has only been open since 1999 and not everyone knows of its availability, making this lake a diamond in the rough for those more inclined to an easy-going lifestyle.   Long, peaceful bays stretch out to the south from the main body of the lake, lending themselves to perfectly peaceful mornings or afternoons.
